Enterprise AI Budgets Drive Demand Across Verticals

Fractal’s revenue trajectory reflects a shift among global enterprises from experimental generative AI pilots to full-scale operational deployments. The company's proprietary agentic AI platform, Cogentiq, alongside software tools like fflyfish.ai and Kalaido.ai, continues to gain traction alongside its core consulting business.

Sectoral growth showed strength across key enterprise verticals, helping compensate for macro headwinds in tech:

  • Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS): Skyrocketed 69% YoY, becoming the fastest-growing vertical and representing 23.5% of total revenue.

  • Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI): Increased 36% YoY.

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) & Retail: Expanded 19% YoY, remaining Fractal's largest vertical at 37.8% of revenue.

  • Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT): Contracted 22% YoY, acting as a temporary drag on overall growth.

"Enterprises are putting real transformation budgets behind AI now, and we're seeing it directly in the size of the deals coming to us. Excluding TMT, our underlying business grew 35% year-on-year, which gives a much clearer picture of the enterprise demand we are capturing."Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-founder, Group CEO, and Executive Vice-Chairman, Fractal

Cost Breakdown & Expenses

Employee benefit expenses continued to make up the bulk of Fractal's cost structure, rising 14% YoY to ₹631.9 crore—accounting for roughly 77% of total operational expenditure. Research and Development (R&D) expenditure also saw a significant bump, rising 28% YoY to ₹41 crore as Fractal scales its product-led AI offerings.

While profitability moderated on a sequential basis compared to Q4 FY26 due to annual variable compensation disbursements, the YoY jump underscores sustained underlying momentum as global enterprises deepen their analytics and AI investments.
