Turtlemint Secures SEBI Approval for ₹2,000 Crore IPO
MUMBAI — Turtlemint Fintech Solutions Ltd., the Mumbai-based insurtech platform, has received the final "observations" from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), effectively giving the company the green light to proceed with its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The company had opted for the confidential pre-filing route in May 2025, a method that allows firms to undergo the regulatory review process without making their financial details public until they are closer to the actual launch. According to market sources, the IPO is expected to have an issue size of approximately ₹2,000 crore ($240 million).
Key Highlights of the IPO
The Approval: SEBI issued its final observations between December 8 and December 12, 2025, marking a successful conclusion to the regulatory review.
Bankers on Board: The company has appointed a powerhouse of merchant bankers, including ICICI Securities, Jefferies India, JM Financial, and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors to manage the issue.
Listing Venue: The shares are slated to be listed on both the BSE and NSE.
Fund Utilization: While the exact split between a fresh issue and an Offer for Sale (OFS) remains confidential, the proceeds are expected to be used for technological upgrades, expansion of its SaaS arm (Turtlefin), and general corporate purposes.
