Urban Company Q3 FY26 Results: Revenue Surges 33% to Rs 383 Cr; Losses Narrow Sequentially

Gurugram, January 23, 2026 — Home services marketplace Urban Company reported its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q3 FY26), highlighting a robust growth in revenue alongside a strategic focus on scaling its new high-frequency vertical, InstaHelp.

The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 382.68 crore, a 33% year-on-year (YoY) increase from Rs 287.92 crore in the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by strong festive season demand, steady customer retention, and expansion in core categories such as beauty, wellness, and repairs.

Financial Highlights: A Tale of Two Segments

While the top line showed impressive momentum, the bottom line reflected the cost of aggressive expansion:

  • Net Loss: The company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 21.05 crore for the quarter. While this is a sharp reversal from the Rs 231.84 crore profit recorded in Q3 FY25 (which was bolstered by a one-time tax gain), it represents a 64.5% sequential narrowing from the Rs 59.33 crore loss reported in Q2 FY26.

  • The "InstaHelp" Factor: The core India consumer services business (excluding InstaHelp) remained profitable with an adjusted EBITDA of Rs 44 crore. However, the newly launched InstaHelp vertical (15-minute housekeeping services) recorded an adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 60.91 crore.

  • Transaction Value: Net Transaction Value (NTV) rose 36% YoY (excluding Saudi Arabia) to reach a record Rs 1,081 crore.

Improving Unit Economics

Urban Company CEO Abhiraj Singh Bhal noted that while InstaHelp remains the primary drag on consolidated profitability, its unit economics are improving. The loss per order in InstaHelp nearly halved sequentially, dropping from Rs 760 in Q2 to Rs 381 in Q3, thanks to higher order density and better partner utilization.

Segment Performance & Partner Earnings

  • Native & International: The "Native" brand (water purifiers and smart locks) saw revenue double to Rs 62 crore. International operations in the UAE and Singapore grew 79% YoY in NTV, turning profitable at an adjusted EBITDA level.

  • Gig Worker Income: Monthly net income for active service partners in India rose to Rs 28,322, with the top 20% of professionals earning over Rs 42,418 per month.
