Tata Sierra 2025 Launched in India: Price, Specs, Triple-Screen Tech, and EV Timeline Revealed

Tata Motors has officially relaunched the iconic Tata Sierra nameplate in India after more than two decades, positioning the new model as a premium mid-size SUV. The vehicle blend the classic Sierra silhouette with futuristic design elements and segment-leading technology.

💰 Price, Booking, & Variants

  • Introductory Price: Starting at ₹11.49 Lakh (ex-showroom). Full variant-wise pricing is expected to be announced in early December 2025.

  • Variants: Offered in seven variants: Smart Plus, Pure, Pure Plus, Adventure, Adventure Plus, Accomplished, and Accomplished Plus.

  • Booking & Delivery: Official bookings commenced on December 16, 2025, with deliveries set to begin on January 15, 2026.

Design & Exterior

The new Sierra retains its unmistakable identity while embracing Tata's modern design language:

  • Iconic Cues: The signature Alpine window-inspired design (the large glass area at the rear quarter) is reinterpreted with a floating roof effect created by a blacked-out C-pillar.

  • Lighting: Features a full-width connected LED light bar upfront and connected LED taillamps at the rear. It also has Bi-LED projector headlamps positioned lower on the fascia.

  • Premium Touches: Includes flush-fitting door handles, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels (on higher variants), and a bold, upright, boxy stance.

  • Colors: Available in six standard colours: Bengal Rouge (Red), Andaman Adventure (Yellow), Coorg Clouds (Silver), Munnar Mist (Green), Mintal Grey, and Pristine White. A Dark Edition is also likely.

💡 Interior & Technology (Segment-First Features)

The cabin is premium and tech-heavy, focusing on a "Life Space" philosophy for a lounge-like feel.

  • Triple-Screen Layout (TheatrePro): A highlight is the 'Horizon View' triple-screen setup: a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, and a dedicated 12.3-inch passenger display.

  • Sound & Connectivity: Features a 12-speaker JBL audio system with a soundbar, Dolby Atmos, and the Arcade app store. It also supports 5G connectivity (a segment-first for an ICE vehicle) for faster iRA connected car technology and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

  • Comfort: Includes a large Panoramic Sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated and powered front seats with a memory function, and a powered tailgate with gesture control.

⚙️ Engine & Powertrain

The Sierra is launched with three Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) options, built on the new ARGOS (All-Terrain Ready, Omni-Energy, and Geometry Scalable) architecture.
