Pine Labs Posts ₹700 Cr Revenue and ₹59 Cr Profit in Q4 FY26 as Software Shift Pays Off
New Delhi: Digital payments and merchant commerce giant Pine Labs has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025–26 (Q4 FY26). The fintech unicorn recorded an operating revenue of ₹700 crore, alongside a consolidated net profit after tax (PAT) of ₹59 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2026.
The latest figures highlight Pine Labs' sustained profitability and a successful strategic transition toward a higher-margin, asset-light business model.
Key Financial Highlights: Q4 FY26 vs Q3 FY26
The company's bottom-line performance showed robust sequential growth, even as it intentionally moderated its topline expansion to focus on healthier margins.
| Metric | Q3 FY26 | Q4 FY26 | Sequential Change (QoQ) |
| Operating Revenue | ₹744 Crore | ₹700 Crore | -5.9% |
| Profit After Tax (PAT) | ₹42 Crore | ₹59 Crore | +40.4% |
Strategic Pivot to Software and High-Margin Verticals
The deliberate dip in sequential revenue from ₹744 crore in Q3 to ₹700 crore in Q4 aligns with management's stated roadmap. Pine Labs has been shifting away from capital-intensive, hardware-heavy point-of-sale (PoS) deployments toward high-yield digital services, including:
Issuing & Value-Added Services (VAS): Helping merchants activate loyalty and analytical tools on their payment terminals.
Affordability Solutions: Scaling up integrated Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and EMI services at checkout.
Online Enterprise Payments: Growing Plural, its online payment gateway ecosystem.
This software-centric strategy translates into lower revenue per deployment up front, but vastly superior long-term margins. The fruits of this pivot are evident in the bottom line, with profits surging over 40% quarter-on-quarter.
Expanding Ecosystem and Global Footprint
Beyond its domestic dominance in India, Pine Labs continues to aggressively build its international presence—notably through retail partnerships in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. International operations now reliably contribute to the company's core margins.
Concurrently, Pine Labs is pushing deeper into the open banking and platform space. Its recent integrations and execution via Setu (its Account Aggregator platform architecture) and the incoming synergy of e-commerce checkout platform Shopflo—which it agreed to acquire for ₹88 crore in April 2026—are positioned to bolster the company's online merchant stack going into FY27.
As a listed entity on the domestic exchanges, market analysts anticipate that Pine Labs' sustained quarterly profitability will reinforce investor confidence as the fintech giant navigates ongoing regulatory compliance, shifting digital payment paradigms, and regional monetization strategies.
